FULLY ADJUSTABLE

The Signature Vest is designed to adapt to how you wear it.

Choose from three Base Sizes:

The Base Size determines the vest’s starting dimensions before the adjustable straps are extended.

The top and side straps are fully adjustable, allowing the vest to expand to a broader width or be tightened for a more fitted appearance.

Wear it over a T-shirt, jersey, sweatshirt, jacket, or other layers while maintaining the ability to adjust the fit.

THE FULL PROCESS

01 — SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST

Complete the Signature Vest Request Form with your jersey information, Base Size, selected level, measurements, and design preferences.

You may provide your own jersey or request that SLATE source one for you for an additional cost.

02 — JERSEY & DESIGN REVIEW

SLATE reviews your jersey, measurements, selected level, materials, and requested design details.

Your jersey does not need to be in pristine condition.

Worn, vintage, faded, repaired, or distressed jerseys are welcome.

Existing wear and imperfections can become part of the character and story of the finished vest.

If the jersey requires additional structural reinforcement or reconstruction to properly support the Signature Vest construction, this will be evaluated during the review process.

03 — PROJECT APPROVAL + ROUGH ESTIMATE

Once project is accepted, SLATE will send a project confirmation.

You will receive the Reserve Project link for your request and outlining a rough estimate for:

Signature Vest level
Custom design details if applicable
Structural work, if required

At this stage, SLATE will provide a rough estimated project range based on the information available. EX: $595 - $795

The estimate provides an approximate cost before final design development. Final pricing may change based on structural work, materials, sourcing, and requested customization.

Only approved projects will move forward to the reservation stage.

04 — RESERVE YOUR PROJECT

Once your project is approved and you have reviewed the estimated project range, you may formally reserve your project via link.

RESERVE — $200

Your $200 Reserve:

Confirms the project
Secures your place in the production queue
Is applied toward your final project balance

*Once approved, reserve your placement as soon as possible. Signature Vest production openings are limited.

The $200 Reserve is only requested after SLATE has reviewed and approved your project.

05 — FINAL DESIGN + PRICE CONFIRMATION VIA INVOICE

After your project is reserved, SLATE will finalize the design details and confirm the complete project cost.

SLATE will send a project confirmation invoice outlining the proposed:

Signature Vest level
Base Size
Measurements
Design Preferences
Trim, thread, Materials
Jersey placement
Bag configuration, if applicable
Custom design details
Structural work, if required

Detailed Pricing is based on selected level, required structural work, materials, sourcing, and requested customization.

Additional custom design details requested outside of the selected level will be quoted separately and included on the final invoice.

No additional costs will be added without being communicated and confirmed before production.

06 — FINAL PAYMENT

Once the final design and project cost are confirmed, the remaining balance is due in full before production begins.

Your $200 Reserve is applied toward the final balance.

Example:

Reserve — −$200

Remaining Balance — $695

Production begins once the project is paid in full and all required materials have been received.

07 — SEND YOUR JERSEY

After final payment, send your jersey to SLATE.

If jersey sourcing was requested, SLATE will source the jersey according to the approved project details.

08 — HANDCRAFTED

Your jersey is transformed into The Original Signature Adjustable Vest, handcrafted according to the selected level and approved design.

Each vest is made to order and uniquely different based on the jersey, layout, placement, materials, and customization.

09 — COMPLETED

Once complete, your Signature Vest is inspected, prepared, and shipped.

Each Signature Vest will feature a custom product tag personalized with your name, edition date, and the signature of DAVID SLATE.

The complete Signature Vest experience.

The Signature includes the elevated construction and introduces the detachable Signature Crossbody Bag, creating a modular system designed to be worn together or separately.

Elevated introduces leather paneling, leather trims, and upgraded components while maintaining the core Signature Vest construction.

A fully developed Signature Vest created around your individual concept.

Full Custom opens the design beyond the established Signature Vest configurations and allows for deeper material, construction, and functional development.

$200 Reserve — Refund Policy

Your $200 Reserve is applied toward your final project balance.

If you decide not to proceed after receiving your final project quote, you may request a refund before production begins.

A $75 design review fee will be retained from the Reserve to cover the time spent reviewing your jersey, preparing your project details, and developing your quote.

The remaining $125 will be refunded provided that no custom materials, sourced jerseys, or other project-specific purchases have been made.

If you proceed with your Signature Vest, the full $200 Reserve is applied toward your final project balance.

Once production has begun or project-specific materials have been purchased, the Reserve becomes non-refundable.
