Our Purpose:
Designed With Intention. Made With Meaning.
A Personal Expression in Form.
Creating garments that establish your presence and carry meaning.
Shaped through your preferences, personal significance, and the details that matter.
In the Bespoke & Custom line, we come together in a personal collaboration to develop a garment around your vision.
Whether creating an entirely new silhouette or personalizing an existing design, the process is guided by your preferences, needs, and the meaning you want the piece to hold.
Personal measurements, curated fabrics, imported leathers, silhouette, functionality, and refined details.
Coming together to create more than a garment, a unique expression of who you are, shaped by what holds significance, and made to be passed on.

THE DIFFERENCE
CUSTOM Personalizes and transforms an existing garment, design, reference, or concept through your preferred materials, fit, proportions, construction, and details.
BESPOKE Develops a completely new design from the ground up, with the silhouette, pattern, materials, function, and details created specifically around your vision.
Custom = Personalize an existing foundation.
Bespoke = Create the foundation from the ground up.
THE PROCESS
1. Personal Consultation
We begin with a personal conversation to understand your vision, preferences, significance, and desired function.
Custom
Bring your existing design, garment, reference, or concept. We establish what you want to preserve, change, personalize, or develop further.
Bespoke
We begin with your vision and develop the design from the ground up, establishing the silhouette, function, proportions, and overall direction together.
2. Design & Fitting
Custom
Measurements, fit preferences, materials, trims, hardware, finishes, and requested modifications are established. Adjustments may include proportions, length, width, placement, and other personalized elements.
Bespoke
Measurements and fitting are used to develop the pattern and establish the proportions, silhouette, construction, materials, and details unique to your design.
3. Sample Development
When required, a first sample is drafted, cut, assembled, and refined in our studio to evaluate fit, function, and construction.
For Bespoke pieces, the sample helps establish the new design.
For Custom pieces, it confirms the requested modifications and personalized elements.
Material and trim options are reviewed and finalized throughout the process.
Final cost may vary based on selected materials, hardware, and additional customization.
4. Evaluation & Refinement
The sample is evaluated for fit, function, comfort, and overall design.
Necessary adjustments are made to refine the pattern, proportions, construction, and details before final production.
5. Final Crafting
Once the design, fit, materials, and specifications are finalized, your garment or piece is handcrafted in our studio with careful attention to construction and detail.
6. Delivery
Your completed piece is prepared in personalized premium packaging and accompanied by a custom tag documenting the details of the garment, its completion date, and the signature of DAVID SLATE.
A final virtual or in-person meeting is available to review the completed piece and its details before delivery.

The Bespoke Experience
An exclusive, collaborative design experience for garments, structured designs, and complex pieces.
Each commission begins with a 1:1 or in-person assessment depending on the level of design development and design strategy. Allowing personalized design to be developed through direct collaboration, fitting, evaluation, and refinement.
Bespoke is reserved for work that requires a deeper level of design development, pattern making, construction, and personal interaction.
Accessories and belts are only included in the in-person assessment as a multiple-piece or integrated project rather than a single item.

INSTALLMENT
Prefer to spread your investment across the project? An 10% installment fee applies.
70% is due upon production, with the remaining 30% due before delivery.
Your $200 Reserve is applied toward the final project cost.
The remaining balance must be paid in full before production begins unless it meets the installment requirements.
04 — DESIGN + CONSULTATION
A personal consultation is used to establish measurements, materials, construction, fit, hardware, trims, finishes, and other design specifications.
For Bespoke projects, the design and pattern are developed from the ground up.

Your final project cost and estimated production timeline are confirmed once all specifications are established.
